What is RFID?

RFID (Radio frequency identification), is a new technology which use radio frequency as transmission media to identify people and objects automatically. An RFID tag requires an RFID reader to capture the data in transponders (or tags) within a specific range simultaneously.

In recent years, RFID technologies have been widely used in warehouse management and supply chain network to improve the efficiencies with the wireless identification network.

RFID includes three major hardwares which are RFID tags, RFID reader and antenna.
